Bodhinatha Completes His Mission in India

div class=”Bodhinatha On His Way Home
The Day Begins in India with Siva Worship”>

Bodhinatha, Acharya Arumuganathaswami and Yoginathaswami are back in Chennai, in transit and on the move home, to arrive here Tuesday morning after some long flights. He sends this short report from the stay in Kerala and we may see more photos of events there after the team gets home.

Om Sivaya, everyone,

Saturday: Appointments from noon to five PM with a lunch break. Many individuals some with the group organizing tonight’s event, others friends and relatives of GK Nair, artist for the children’s books. Then a drive to the location of the Cherukolpuzha Hindu Matha Parishad 100th Annual Convention. The talk was from 7 – 9 PM, introductions, my English talk and the Malayalam translation. We estimate possibly at the high point there were about1,000 in attendance with people coming and going throughout. GK Nair, our Kerala Hinduism Today correspondent, printed a booklet with the talk and the 2008 talk with their translations and handed some out at the event.

Sunday: Drove to an elderly home run by the Yogeeswara Sabha in the village of Janani. It must have been centrally located for their members. 100 plus came. We gave out vibhuti to all. A Malayalam translation of a writeup on the four padas I excerpted from the Master Course trilogy was released, lots of photos, a few discussions with the Sabha leaders, lunch, a short talk by me with translation and we departed for the airport. Flight from TIruvananthapuram to Chennai through Bengaluru and we checked in to the Trident hotel near the airport.

Om Namasivaya,
Bodhinatha
