Suresh and Shanthi Ramamurthi hosted Paramacharya Sadasivanathaswami for a delightful satsang. This would be the last event for the travel mission's California stop, and then off to New York.

   Swami, they cannot be “Hindu vows” vegetarianism, Ahimsa, tithing, and Kailasa Parampara”. They are vows specific to the Saiva Siddhantha order or Church. A Srivaishnavaite, is a Hindu, and will not follow the Kailasa Parampara, yet keep the other three percepts. Sometimes the media labels each order a “cult” and how they don’t get along. If we do not discuss the variations in the Hindu faith along these lines, it will not give–those who wish to convert, the opportunity to do so. I hope that presentation of such ideals can be refined so it does not lose its originality, yet is not subject to derogatory labeling. On Nama Sivaya!!
