Temple Builders’ Pavilion
The evolution of the Temple Builders' Pavilion continues. This first image shows it before the three stone chains were installed as handrails, and also before today's black stone frame was installed. It is getting close to perfection! Yet, it was also perfect as it evolved, no?

This is probably for the first time that Temple Builders have been Honored with such dignity and preserved for Posterity. Om Namah Sivayam.

Leave it to Gurudeva to lift up and honor the hidden, the “taken for granted” – the unseen, unappreciated heroes that are indispensable in creating the magic that is Hinduism. The silpis, the priests, the grandmothers, and grandfathers; all brought forward during Gurudeva’s life – and honored publicly – cherished and protected in His talks and writings. This memorial is a masterful manifestation of Gurudeva’s vision now even more beautiful.
When we were on a bus in South India over forty years ago and the villagers heard Gurudeva was coming to their temple the road became so packed that we had to get out and walk for over a mile to the temple. The villagers must have intuitively known that this Great Soul was a champion of all the people.
