Extraordinary Sketches of Sivaya Subramuniyaswami – Part 1
Natalie Levin, of Tucson, Arizona (yes the same Natalie who sculpted the bronze Sadasiva murti that sits in the Aadheenam Sacred Garden), spent the last couple of winter months making extraordinary sketches of our Gurudeva. She wanted to give expression to his profundity, his clarity, his various moods, the richness of his inner being. When she sent the last few to Sadasivanathaswami, she included some commentary. Paramacharya found her words so revealing he asked her to do the same for the whole series of 20 sketches. The result: two videos of Natalie sharing what each one means to her. This is the first, and in a week or two we will post the second one. Good job, Natalie!

Unique is your gift, Natalie, to capture Siva in the form Sadasiva and Gurudeva. You capture the Light of the soul, atma, in your creations and particularly this emanates through Gurudeva’s eyes in these beautiful drawings. He is right there.
