Iraivan Temple Landscaping – Before & After

Here are two images from Iraivan Temple’s gardens. The first is a wide shot from the slope down to Rishi Valley, showing a 2012 photo and one from yesterday. The second is on the terraced entryway leading up to the temple steps from the river. Both show the amazing transformation from raw earth to lush sacred gardens.

How fun to see transformation at a glance! To see the untold days, weeks, months, and years of effort magically whisked away and there we are – standing at our destination. We know the ‘magic’ of mud to fiber and quagmire to carpet green is a long tedious process. We know too well our journey of transformation can seem impossibly long and difficult at times and yet – does all the toil and heartache vanish the instant we arrive at our destination? After countless lifetimes do we stand on the edge of the Universe and know instantly that all our lives were nothing more than the tiny blink of God?
