But rare is the Satguru who brings the atma to light. Many are the gurus who rob sishyas of their wealth. But rare is the Satguru who removes the afflictions of the sishya. He is the Satguru in whose very presence there flows the supreme bliss called ananda. The intelligent person will choose such a one as Satguru and none other.” Kularnava Tantra

Aum sivaya, Satguru, Bodhinatha.
We are happy to rejoice the Jayanthi of our beloved Bodhinatha. I was very fortunate to know Bodhinatha since 1982. At that time Bodhinatha was a swami and Gurudeva was our Satguru.
I came to Bangalore in 1994 as a Project Manager of Iraivan Temple. Bodhinatha was in charge of all the financial aspects of Iraivan Temple . I worked with Him for over 25 years and personally admired his projections and decisions in Finance . Bodhinatha was Satguru from 2001,I continued working for Iraivan Temple till 2018 and Bodhinatha was still managing the financial aspect.
It took me some time to shift focus from Gurudeva ( 1982-2001) . Another reason, was that I worked with Bodhinatha 25 years on the finacancial aspect of Iraivan Temple.
Bodhinatha is my spiritual Satguru . I follow his directions and advise for my spiritual progress.
I wish Bodhinatha a very Happy Jayanthi and a long life to bring forward the mission of Gurudeva. Looking forward to see Bodhinatha pour the kumbam water over the Kalasam of the Capstone (Vimanam ) , our San Marga Iraivan Temple.

Do I have time to seek? Is it within reach?
Yet, it beckons, so they heed its call
And come to Gurunathan’s hall
They see the light and feel the peace
And fall at Sivaguru’s feet!
Do I then to keep searching more?
Maybe yes, may be no,
It was after all finished a long time ago…

Siva’s miracles surround us every moment, from the foliage that explodes everywhere to the tiny crawly creatures that march around these natural wonders. Then of course the human form with all of its complexity and potential is spellbinding. Among all of these billions come the rare ones . . . the unfolded ones -the awakened leaders of mankind. Of these exceedingly rare few – how diverse are their natures! From the fiery and unapproachable to the most compassionate among us, they appear to those who have come to the end of their worldly rope. The subtly of their natures cannot be comprehended and their actions are on so many levels at once that they confound those who are limited to linear time or the idea that the human form is real or lasting. I read a fun story once that made a tiny, humble attempt at describing the self-effacing Master of the Universe that is Satguru Bodhinatha. I read it 40 years ago so it is a bit of a paraphrase:
A farmer was tilling his field when a man emerged out of the deep forest. As He strode across the field His countenance was extraordinary – It appeared as if each step was both deliberate and cautious at the same time and a sense of harmony pervaded all around Him. The farmer thought – “This is no ordinary man – maybe this is the sage our scriptures talk about.”
So the farmer mustered the courage and in humility approach this elegant man. “Kind Sir, (he asked) – Are you a wise man?” The Sage turned and looked at the man and was silent for a moment . . . .
“Well (he said to the farmer) if I said I was then surely I wouldn’t be, but if I said I wasn’t, I would be a liar!”
