Steps to Iraivan

The walking path will then intersect the rose granite stairs that will soon approach, uphill through spectacular waterways and shrines to Gods Ganesha and Murugan, the diamond of the Sanctuary: the white granite Siva temple, its large capstone and side towers gilded with gold leaf. The temple, in a remarkable statement of hand-carved stone, brings a part of India's cultural plateaus in the past to our present time--and from our present to the far future.
