A reader of Merging with Siva asks Gurudeva about his references to the Self in the book. Is it always in reference to Parasiva, the timeless, formless, causeless Absolute Reality? Gurudeva tells us that our reason for being on Earth is to realize the Self, and that the first realization is Satchidananda. The more advance realization is Parasiva. MWS refers to both realizations, and the reader must read carefully to distinguish.
