நல்லூரிற் கண்டேனே

எல்லையில் லாப்பிணி தீர்க்கு மருந்து
இம்மை மறுமைக்கு மேற்ற மருந்து
இல்லை யெனாது கொடுக்கும் மருந்து
ஏழை யடியார்க் கிரங்கு மருந்து

வல்லவன் செல்லப்பன் தந்த மருந்து
வாழ்த்துங் கணபதிக்கு வந்த மருந்து
புல்லர்கள் கண்டும் புசியா மருந்து
புண்ணியர் யோகர் புசிக்கு மருந்து

Good Medicine

good - one medicine - Guru - medicine - I
in Nalloor - I found, indeed (good)

endless - disease - to cure - medicine
this life - for other lives too - suitable - medicine
no - thus saying - giving - medicine
poor - for devotees - sympathetic - medicine (good)

the mighty - Sellappan - given by - medicine
praising - to Ganapathy - came - medicine
lowly people - having found - not consumed - medicine
the virtuous - Yogar (1) - consuming - medicine (good)
