Lord of Karma, Gaṇeśa removes obstacles with the goad. He also places obstacles in our path, using the noose. The broken tusk is sacrifice, and the ripe mango is spiritual attainment. This red form is Vijaya Gaṇapati, victorious bestower of success.§
