Mahasivaratri is the most important Saivite festival of the year. It is on the new moon of February-March. We worship and celebrate Siva’s greatness all night. We stay awake until the last puja.§
மாக சிவராத்திரி என்பது ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் நடைபெறும் மிகமுக்கிய சைவ விழாவாகும். மாசி மாதத்தில் அமாவாசை தினத்தில் அது கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. சிவபெருமானுடைய பெருமைகளை இரவு முழுதும் கொண்டாடி வழிபடுகிறோம். இறுதிப் பூசை வரை நாம் தூங்காமல் கண் விழித்திருக்கிறோம்.§
Mahasivaratri adalah perayaan tahunan yang terpenting bagi penganut Saivisme. Ia jatuh semasa kedatangan anak bulan di antara bulan Februari-Mac. Kita memuja dan meraikan keagungan Tuhan Siva sepanjang malam. Kita tidak tidur sehingga puja yang terakhir.§
Mahasivaratri, la plus importante fête Sivaïte de l’année, se célébre à la nouvelle lune de février-mars. Toute la nuit, nous adorons Siva et nous célébrons sa grandeur en restant éveillés jusqu’à la dernière puja.§
