The celestials, Indra their king and the rest,
The seven rishis *[1] - Narada and the rest -
That are experts in Veena,
The Countless Siddhas,
The Kings of the earth like Manu and the rest,
The Munis that are versed in
Rig and other Vedas,
Did not all these
Guided firm by goodly sense,
Through this Faith attain
Siddhi and Mukti for this world to see
And for any one in it,
As palpable as the amla fruit
In the hollow of the palm?
