If He is the supreme Lord
Who incarnates often (sic)
And performs the troublesome task of world protection,
Then will there be end any
To the ocean of births, full of sorrows?
Nor will ever the darkness
That envelopeth the soul disappear?
Well may the maya persist then -
In the garb of I-ness.
