The damsel on Thine left
Thou gave to the Mother Earth.
And having given birth to worlds all,
On the day when the cosmic dissolution taketh place,
Thou, withdrawing Her,
Standeth as the Pervasive Light
Across the expanses vast!
Thou, Ocean of Mercy!
Am I to be wallowing in the mire of darkness,
Tearing the veils of remembering and forgetting?
It is Thy duty indeed
To protect and foster me.
