Songs of Tayumanavar

Leaping Leopard (28/59)

The ascending breath *[1] driven down to muladhara *[2],
The dumb *[3] mantra showered up the clouds of fire *[4] -
That practice I could not attain.
But when the Silent Guru that upadesa gave *[5]
Conferred it on me,
I tasted its sweetness.
And beyond will I taste
The ambrosia in the cranial regions *[6].
