By His Grace He teaches thou
To know thyself.
Yet thou liveth not,
Holding Him, the King, as the Being Supreme.
Oh! Thou, accursed heart!
What availeth it
That thou tempteth me and draggeth me after
Gold, land and damsels
Deeming them as objects true?
