e basic laws of life, like the yamas and niyamas, are simple, but many people don’t obey them. Why? Because following them takes eff ort! It is easy to not follow them and fi nd reasons for doing something else instead. It is normal to fail some of these tests. It is like ge ing a failing grade on a report card in school and having to take a class over. We must learn from our experiences or repeat our classes again and again.
