Hindus who are wise and serious about practicing their religion have an entire room for the home shrine. They know that a closet or a shelf is not enough to create a sacred space. In this special room the family gathers for puja and meditation every morning, and more on holy days. Here is where you go to feel close to God, Gods and the devas. You can help with the family’s daily puja. You can learn the various Sanskrit chants and chant along. The home shrine is the most beautiful room in the house. It has pictures of your guru lineage. The altar has images of God Siva and the Gods. There are oil lamps, offering trays and flower baskets. The shrine is like the family’s private temple. By having such a shrine, the home becomes God’s home. Many devas come and live in the shrine room. Gurudeva said, “A room is set aside for these permanent unseen guests. It is a room that the whole family can enter and sit in. They can commune inwardly with these refined beings. These deveas are dedicated to protecting the family generation after generation.” These beings of light bless and protect you, keeping the home secure and peaceful. When we live in God’s home, it is easy for the family to be happy. It is easy to get along and love one another.§

இந்து சமயத்தில் உள்ள அறிவார்ந்த சமயத்தைப் பின்பற்றுபவர் வீட்டுப் பூசை மாடத்துக்காக ஒரு தனியறையை ஒதுக்கியிருப்பார். சுவற்றுடன் பொறுத்தப்பட்ட அலமாரி அல்லது பரன் போன்றவை புனிதத் தன்மையை உண்டாக்கும் இடமாக இருக்காது என்பது அவருக்குத் தெரியும். பிரத்தியேகமான பூசையறையில் பூசைக்காகவும் தியானத்துக்காகவும் குடும்பத்தினர் ஒவ்வொரு நாள் காலையிலும் ஒன்று கூடுவர். புனித விழா நாள்களில் சிறப்பான பூசைகள் நடைபெறும். இங்கு நீங்கள் கடவுள், தெய்வங்கள் மற்றும் தேவர்களின் அணுக்கத்தை உணர்வீர்கள். குடும்பத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு நாள் பூசைக்கும் நீங்கள் உதவலாம். பல சமஸ்கிரத மந்திரங்களைக் கற்று அவற்றை ஓதலாம். இல்லத்திலேயே மிக அழகுமிக்கது நமது பூசையறையேயாகும். அங்கு உனது குருபரம்பரையின் படம் இருக்கும். பூசைமாடத்தில் சிவபெருமான் மற்றும் தெய்வங்களின் படங்கள் இருக்கும். விளக்குகள், நைவேத்தியத் தட்டு, பூக்கூடை முதலியன இருக்கும். வீட்டுப் பூசையறை குடும்பத்தின் சொந்தக் கோயில் போன்றதாகும். வீட்டில் பூசையறை இருப்பது வீடு இறைவன் இல்லமாகிறது. பல தேவர்கள் பூசையறையில் வந்து குடி இருப்பார்கள். குருதேவர். “கண் காண முடியாத நிரந்தர விருந்தினருக்காக ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட தனியறை. குடும்ப உறுப்பினர் அனைவரும் சென்று அமர முடியும். அவர்கள் தூய்மையான இவ்வுயிர்களோடு உள்ளுணர்வுடன் தொடர்பு வைத்துக் கொள்ள முடியும். இத்தேவர்கள் பரம்பரை பரம்பரையாக குடும்பத்துக்குப் பாதுக்காப்பளிக்க தியாகம் செய்கிறார்கள்.” என்று கூறுகிறார். ஒளியுடல் கொண்ட இவர்கள உன்னை ஆசீர்வதித்து பாதுகாத்து உன் குடும்பத்தைப் பாதுகாப்பாகவும் அமைதியாகவும் வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். நாம் கடவுள் இல்லத்தில் வாழும்போது குடும்பம் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பது எளிது. மற்றவர்களோடு அன்பாகவும் ஒத்துப் போவதும் எளிதாகும். §

Penganut Hindu yang bijak dan serius dalam mengamalkan agama mereka akan mempunyai sebuah bilik khas untuk dijadikan bilik sembahyang rumah. Mereka tahu bahawa satu stor kecil atau para tidak cukup untuk dijadikan ruang yang suci. Dalam bilik khas inilah seluruh keluarga berkumpul untuk puja dan bertafakur setiap pagi dan kerap lagi semasa hari-hari suci. Disinilah anda akan pergi untuk berasa dekat dengan Tuhan, Tuhan-Tuhan dan dewa-devi. Anda boleh membantu keluarga dalam puja harian. Anda juga boleh belajar pelbagai dikir Sanskrit dan berdikir. Bilik sembahyang di rumah adalah tempat yang paling cantik di rumah. Ia mempunyai gambar-gambar keturunan guru anda. Altar mempunyai imej-imej Tuhan Siva dan Tuhan-Tuhan lain. Terdapat juga lampu minyak, dulang pemberian dan bakul bunga-bungaan. Bilik sembahyang adalah umpama kuil peribadi keluarga. Dengan adanya bilik sembahyang seumpama itu, maka rumah tersebut menjadi rumah Tuhan. Ramai dewa-dewi akan datang dan tinggal di bilik sembahyang itu. Gurudeva berkata, “Sebuah bilik dikhaskan untuk tetamu tetap yang tidak boleh dilihat ini. Ia adalah sebuah bilik dimana seluruh ahli keluarga boleh masuk dan duduk. Mereka boleh berhubung dalam hati dengan Tuhan-Tuhan dan dewa-dewi ini. Mereka amat berdedikasi dalam melindungi keturunan demi keturunan keluarga anda.” Mereka yang bercahaya ini merahmati dan melindungi anda, memastikan rumah anda selamat dan aman. Apabila kita tinggal di rumah Tuhan, adalah senang untuk keluarga kita berasa gembira. Ia juga memudahkan kita untuk bergaul dan sayang-menyayangi antara satu sama lain.§

Les Hindous qui pratiquent leur religion avec sagesse et sérieux réservent au sanctuaire familial une pièce entière de leur maison. Ils savent qu’un placard ou une étagère ne suffisent pas pour créer un espace sacré. Dans cette pièce spéciale la famille se réunit chaque matin pour la puja et la méditation, et plus encore lors des jours saints. C’est là qu’on se sent proche de Dieu, des Dieux et des dévas. Tu peux contribuer à la puja familiale quotidienne. Tu peux apprendre et chanter. les divers chants sanscrits. Le sanctuaire familial est la plus belle pièce de la maison. On y trouve les photos de la lignée de ton guru. Sur l’autel se trouvent les images de Dieu Siva et des autres Dieux. Il y a des lampes à huile, des plateaux pour les offrandes, et des paniers pour les fleurs. Ce lieu est comme le temple privé de la famille. Un tel sanctuaire fait de ta maison la demeure de Dieu, et de nombreux dévas y élisent domicile. Gurudeva dit qu’ «une pièce doit être réservée aux invités invisibles. C’est une pièce où toute la famille peur venir s’asseoir et communier intérieurement avec ces êtres raffinés. Ces dévas se consacrent à la protection de la famille, génération après génération.» Ces êtres de lumière te bénissent et te protègent et maintiennent la paix et la sécurité au foyer. Dans la famille qui habite la maison de Dieu, il est facile pour chacun de se sentir heureux, de s'aimer et bien s’entendre.§
