The Pervasive Being (10/11)

Teeth like pearl,
Lips like coral
Words like sugar,
Countenance gleaming with soft tumeric paste,
Breasts like a pair of cones,
Adorned with dangling garland of gems,
Stirring up intoxicating emotions of passion,

With these the slender waisted damsels
Throw their net of alluring glance
And plunge me into the ocean of mayaic lust
That gives the transient pleasure of sex.
Is this to be my lot?

Or if the lot is to be
The celestial Land of God
Where the eyelids of denizens immortal do not close,
In constant carousal of freshly brewed ambrosia,
Will there not be a mental conflict?

To attain spiritual bliss here below,
Long, long the distance you have to traverse -
Thus did Sukhar go.
Is this not known to this world?

Oh! Thou the Pervasive Being
That is Life of life
Of this world and next!
