Every few years a duck decides that San Marga is an avian sanctuary. We normally let them live with us as long as they behave themselves. This is the latest arrival. If he or she sticks around long enough we will have to find a name. The last one was humorously called “Sambandar.”

Primary to Hinduism is the key belief that God is within each of us. To have a well-rounded understanding and experience of Hinduism, to make spiritual progress, adhyatma vikasha, we need scripture, humility, temple worship, devotion. To fully experience God we need the guru to give the spark for meditation and deeper wisdom.
