We have no photos today from Mauritius, no doubt because everyone is super busy there. Today is the 14th in Mauritius and Bodhinatha is giving his all-day seminar program and the beautiful, modern Vivekananda Center.
Yesterday there was another important Satsang for the Flacq Mission at the home of Kulapati Anba Vaylayten and a number of important initiations were given as sishya advance to Samaya Diksha and Vishesha Diksha.
When we come back to TAKA on Sun One, Bodhinatha and the monks will be in transit again, on their way to a big adventure in India. Although we are headed for a retreat if photos are posted from Mauritius, we will post them here, so stayed tuned.
~~~~~~~~~~~ END OF PHASE
Today is the last day of our phase.
This edition of TAKA will remain posted
over our coming two-day retreat,
until Prathama Tithi, Sun One, Tuesday, March 16th.
Hindus believe in each individual as a soul, a divine being who is inherently good. We all have a threefold nature: instinctive, intellectual, intuitive. Develop the intuitive/spiritual/soul nature with compassion, devotion, penance. Use the intellect to help subdue the instinctive mind. Guilt is not a part of Hinduism. There is no eternal hell. You have a continuity of consciousness when you transition to the inner worlds. There is no devil, but there are mischievous "asuras."
