Utharam Nandi Mandapam Beams for Iraivan

This is a ornamentation design on the bottom face of the utharam or the beam stone.

Stapathy Manikandan marking the design.

He is Manikandan, our supervisor who has been with us since inception of the Bangalore carving site.

Silpi Chelakannu continuing work after detail marking of this design.

Shtapati Selvanathan working on the ornamentation design on the top most part of the beam stone.

This is where it goes.

An another photo of the details of the drawing, an annapahu-bird, called in Tamil. This design is planned at as band of birds on the entire stretch of the beam top.
