Swamis Connect With Next Generation
 
Jeyendra (left) and Bhajana Param have been spending some time the swamis while they are here. Jeyendra has been reading the stories in our children’s books and giving his insights to Acharya Arumuganathaswami. Bhajana had been talking with Sivakatirswami about helping with functional specification for future games we might create to help engage youth and teach our faith.

All experiences are good experiences, necessary to get us here. Awareness of aspects of ourselves that are constantly changing is a liberating perception, breaking our chains to mundane areas, detaching from instinctive and intellectual to go into superconscious. The greatest challenge facing youth today is the lack of relating to the devotional side of Hinduism. Daily practice, daily vigil, moves us forward spiritually. IT´s amazing how you monks embrace whatever and whomever gets near you, steering their strenght into a good ddirection and making the best of each person´s characteristics. Bringing the chldren and youth so close and joining them on THEIR interests is really lovely. I learn from you, each day.
