Specimen Tree Nursury Complete Today!

The specimen tree nursery at Himalayan Acres was completed today by Scott Young and his team, Durvasa Alahan (at right), Arumugaswami and Sadhaka Satyanatha (behind the camera). The final step was to install the irrigation lines, providing a two-gallon per hour emitter for each tree.

An out row of foxtail palms and three inner rows of areca palms. Both are very popular for island landscaping.

Looking back toward our equipment tent along the row of arecas. These are used often to create a tall, decorative fence between properties.

Looking the other way toward our small reservoir along the arecas. Water is pumped from the reservoir for the palms and the five-acre noni field, which is two hundred feet to the right.

Hindu Business Forum in Malaysia

Stepping back to an event in Kuala Lumpur, we have photos from a meeting of businessmen in Kuala Lumpur where Bodhinatha and Palaniswami gave presentations. here is a report from Sivajnani.

Lord Ganesha welcoming all the participants with an invitation card on his hands for the Hindu Business Forum

The Forum was held at Mauna Lani A (sounds hawaiian) with Bodhinatha as a Key Note Speaker follow by the Questions and Answers. Bodhinatha had so many answers to the inner questions. It was inspiring.

The popular emcee and the personnel from the local tv station that covered the Hindu Business Forum.

Following Bodhinatha’s presentation there was a small fund raising dinner in the adjacent room with cultural presentations.

During the dinner, Paramacharya Palaniswami talked on “Kailasa Parampara,” a video presentation on ‘What is Iraivan.’

His wonderful presentation, which was run with an iPhone app, stunned everyone and open up many hearts. After listening to presentation, many participants are looking forward for the next Hinduism Today Magazine.

A big vanakkam from the organizing committee.
