Caring for a Dying Dog

An e-devotee in Arizona asks about the proper way to care for an elderly dog. Gurudeva answers that a domesticated dog which has been in the family for a long time should be treated as a family member. Gurudeva advises not to "put the dog to sleep" as a way to "help with the pain."

Stop the war in the home. Use positive discipline. Praise your children. Discover the good things that they do and tell them how well they have done. Celebrate their Divinity. Enjoy them and enjoy good times with them.
