Tolerance as a Hindu Value
Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami , 2003-12-27
Bodhinatha began by speaking of the troubles in the world today, in the aftermath of 9/11. At the core of the problem is hatred, and we need to counter all the hatred by teaching tolerance and acceptance, two deeply ingrained Hindu values. Hatred is taught; people are not born with hatred in their hearts. Tolerance is taught most effectively at home, and also in the temple and community center.
