Caring for a Dying Dog

An e-devotee in Arizona asks about the proper way to care for an elderly dog. Gurudeva answers that a domesticated dog which has been in the family for a long time should be treated as a family member. Gurudeva advises not to "put the dog to sleep" as a way to "help with the pain."

Good people are the best teachers of good conduct, and should be sought out and heeded when we need help or advice. Talk with them, the wise ones, and in good judgment be guided accordingly.
