Jai Ganesha!
Recently Sannyasin Yoginathaswami and Sannyasin Mayilnathaswami visited Portland Oregon. Below are the words from them:
“Yesterday, we went to Kondapis place for breakfast and then they took us to Japanese garden at Washington park. Namrata and her husband Jagadish met us there. Beautiful place with lots of camellia, magnolia, and cherry blooming and zen gardens. There was a rose garden right next to the Japanese garden, but they have not start blooming yet.
After that Jagadish brought us to a Holy arboretum trail with beautiful cedars, redwood, spruce trees. It was about an 1 hour long trail with wonderful trees to see. After that we were took to a Chinese garden in downtown Chinatown. It was interesting. It was small place but beautiful with lots to see.
We went back to Kondapis for lunch. After that went to the hotel and rest. Evening we had short Ganesha puja and Yoginathaswami gave a talk about Kauai Aadheenam, went on personal sadhanas and karma. Lots of wonderful questions. After that we had dinner and came back to the hotel.”
