Newly painted Iraivan Foundation

After several days of concentrated work, Jonathan Anderson completed the painting of the Iraivan foundation. At Bodhinatha

s request, this time we painted a faux moss rock design on the sides, to give visitors a better idea (not a perfect idea) of how the plinth will eventually look. '

Moss rock (the local name for lava stones) will form the future foundation. Imagine a small rock knoll on which the temple is sitting. And it won

t be flat as shown here. '

Selvanathan Sthapati has designed a marvelous mountain look that has three arcs to create an elegant little mountain.
