Mahasamadhi Tree Planting
November 12, 2012
A lovely group of bright souls

On the way they got to walk across the new footbridge, though a little treacherous, everyone enjoyed it.

Sadasivanatha pointed out the various special trees around the property, most which will live thousands of years

Todays first tree is the famous baobab tree which grows to have a huge trunk and lives over 2000 years.

Gurukkal performes a blessing for the new tree.

A sign is put up to inform visitors about the tree.

The second Tree was a wiliwili tree, endemic to the Hawaiin Islands. It loves rough tarrain, so unlike the Baobab it was planted without any extra fertelizer.

A rare Photo of gurudeva sent to us by a devotee. It
s uplifting to reflect on all that he has created for us. '

Yesterday, many of the Pilgrims had a wonderful time planting two different, special trees with Sadasivanathaswami. They then took a stroll through the temple gardens.
