This is the water pot where the abhishega water is collected from the Nandi Mandapam. Ornamentation works are about to start. Selvanathan Sthapathi is marking the design.

The sthapathi is marking the designs using a charcoal "pencil

Once the design is confirm, it will be marked with red oxide.'

Segar sthapathi is marking the small rings on the stone chain, which will hang on the 8 sides around the sunshade. These chains are in black stone.

This is the cement model of the"Yesti" for the steps of the Rajagopuram. Some adjustments are made to ensure the model is perfect to start the work on the stone.

After making some changes by the sthapti, the silpi makes the changes. This yesti is really big over 8 feet long. It may take about 8 - 10 months to complete a piece.

Sthapti is drawing the initial floral design for the kamalam which will come on the underside of the roof stone.
