Progress in Anna Purna Garden
December 31, 2012Our vegetable garden is an active operation with the Siddhidata Kulam working hard to keep our own food supply flowing every week. It require a lot of attention and careful planning as new plants must be started, seedling's raised and transplanted on schedule.

A recent addition to the garden are the Romano tomatoes.

Deva Seyon gave us seeds.

This bed is coming up very nicely

First fruits are forming. These are a small, tasty variety that is resistant to the fruit fly.

In the area we call \"the lower garden.\" which is tilled by tractor, this years winder broccolli is coming up vigorously.

In the nursery, lots of seedings are in progress.

Task Forcer Mayuresh is planting out some lettuce that is mature enough to go into one of the raised beds.
