March 13, 2013After years of study and preparation, Saiva Siddhanta Church vratasishya Shanta Devi Periasamy from Singapore received her samaya(mantra) diksha yesterday morning, which means receiving spiritiual initiation from the Satguru to chant Aum Namah Sivaya 108 times daily on rudraksha japa mala. Also, Mrunal and Padmaja Patel of Texas took their Vratasishya vows, becoming formal sishyas (members) of Saiva Siddhanta Church. Congratulations to all of you!
