Busy Summer Visitor Days
July 13, 2013Our visitors were in for a big surprise this past week. The new shipment from India has arrived and it was like Pancha Ganapati looking at all the new crates and treasures.

From every concievable walk of life they come to learn more about the world\
s most ancient path to God . . . . and to share their gratitude to Bodhinatha.'

The monks have done a remarkable job of protecting the sanctity and forcefield of Kadavul by establing a wall that now allows access through the inner gate only if you plan to join the worship. After 10:30 am. all may enter but the Siva Puja is completed.

Once in a great while one of our Swami\
s stops in while we are guiding the tour. It is a special moment for our guests to have them drop by for a few moments and speak to them directly.'

Summer brings large crowds. Looking West from Iraivan. (a panorama: scroll left and right)

Early rain and threatening clouds kept some guests from coming this day but a little invocation to Lord Ganesha and not a drop for one hour and a half.

Same testimony the following week!

There are certain bulbs that wait all year for June and July to bloom.

The children were very happy to hear that we are building Iraivan for them! Himani is twelve and Aditya is nine. What a sweet family - Kapil and Anjali Sood from Oregon.

Paramacharya Sivanathaswami performs the final sacraments to the four directions just as the guided tour arrives.

The new childrens books are a big hit with Himani.

This is Tara and her father. They come every few years and it is an instant connection . . . maybe a past life . . .

Peeking in the new crates that just arrived is thrilling.

The star of the show was Hanuman.

Hard to describe the sheer beauty and power of this masterpiece. His \"skin\" is as smooth as silk!
