Holly Young Visits The Monastery
August 4, 2013This week Holly Young Visited the Monastery to take a mold of the Silpi forge for one of the seven bronze statues which will be displayed next to Iraivan temple. The statues depict Gurudeva's Inspiration for Iraivan temple, becoming a reality through the patience and precision of the skilled stone carvers.

Here she is finishing the rubber mold, which is followed by a hard, white plastic mold for support.

The two center bronzes are complete with two more coming along nicely.

The is a picture of the forge when the siplis where using it for their chisels

The forge all covered in the rubber mold

Holly applies the hard plastic which supports the flimsy rubber when it comes off
