Recent Guest Days at the Aadheeenam (November Tours)
November was a very busy month with many born Hindu guests coming during the Thanksgiving week. One family reported they arrived on Kauai early one morning with no knowledge of the Temple being here. When they reported to the car rental agent that they couldn't check into their hotel until 3:00pm in the afternoon, the agent said "Why don't you go up to the Hindu Temple for the morning" - "Hindu temple? - on Kauai?" So they did and were very pleasantly suprised!

The first meeting with a Satguru can never be too soon!

There is always great joy when Hindu families find a Siva Temple in the middle of the Hawaiian jungle with a Satguru sitting in His chair to greet them!

You cannot approach this incredible shrine without having your breath taken away.

Sadasivanathaswami helps all of us learn from nature. Here the young puakinikini bloom - young and strong, pure white, upright, strongly attached to the stem and very dificult to pick - it is totally without fragrance at this stage.

As it matures it turns golden. The fragrance can be detected from several feet away and it lowers its head and surrenders in your hand at the slightest touch. These magnificent trees align the Sivaneri path.

Our little Bodhi (on the right) met a friend on the tour. Bodhi lives on the island and comes on the tour from time to time. He sits up front and asks the most mature questions. I asked him \"Is school out for the holidays Bodhi?\" \"No,\" he replied, \"I just decided to take the morning off!\"

Shailesh Trivedi came for the Mahasamadhi Observance and became a formal Sishya. Instead of going home he is now going to enter the \"Task Force\" program and help with the re-building of the Media Studio. He has a flower farm on the mainland and was a big help with all the recent decorating.
