What Happened Today at the Monastery?

With Mahasamadhi the day before, then name-giving ceremonies and a wedding today, TAKA's theme seems to be samskaras this week.

Tandu Sivanathan and Uma were married today in a sunrise ceremony on a Kauai beach, with a homa performed by Janahan who was flown in from California just for this occasion. After the wedding, they came to the Aadheenam for blessings.

In a joyful moment, Bodhinatha wraps the newlyweds together in a magical shawl that will rotect them during their married life and bring them harmony in every situation.

And they also received blessings in the Kadavul Temple....
