Gurudeva's Statement -- Attack on America

What Yogaswami said, Gurudeva fulfilled:

"Shall we not invoke the name of Siva and gain clarity? Shall we not rejoice in His gracious Feet? Never shall we forget to offer the blooms of grateful love. To far off lands shall we traverse in the service of Siva."

Devotees at the 3:PM Ganesha puja. One local lady, Deva from Oahu and the other two ladies who went on the last Innersearch have come today.

Yogaswami:

"GOD IS ONE AND WORLD OUR KIN

We see the Truth that God is One,
And behold the whole world as our kin.
We'll not swerve from the path of Dharma,
Nor shall we disown parental dictum.
Whatsoe'er comes and goes affect us not,
For no longer are we enticed by worldly gains.
We'll wear the badge of service in humility,
And shall never forget the Feet of the SatGuru.
The law of the land shall we not violate,
Nor will we waste our moments idly.
Fear and anger have we subdued,
And to none shall we bow in deference,
We'll not submit to false doctrines,
Neither will we spurn the creed of others.
We'll not pursue sense-enjoyments
But keep ourselves above unrighteous acts.
We shall master the psychic science and arts;
And restrain anger with the mind under control.
We shall till the soil and harbour not ill-will.
We'll go far and wide and spread the gospel fine.
In exaltation shall we soar from earth to heaven,
And rejoice in the infinitude of Siva.
Benevolent shall be our deeds without any taint,
And equity will be our motto for all creeds.

Indian Ocean Monastery
Gurudeva's spiritual center in the island country of Mauritius
in the Indian Ocean near South Africa

A happy crew of karma yogis from the north was at the Saiva Dharmasala today to help with the cleaning and washing of the offices, terraces and kitchen. Here we see our three ladies washing the front terrace of the main building with a little boy pouring water. This very small group did a big job on that day. While the ladies were busy there, the men were helping with the setting up of a tent.

In view of a special Guru puja at the park, a large tent is being pitched at one of the flat grounds close to the Dharmasala building and the Ganesha Mandapam overlooking the river and the sea. The tent will provide sitting accommodations for devotees from all over the island. A special shrine is also being built, facing the rising sun over the sea horizon.

Little boys like to be given responsibilities when they accompany their parents to the Spiritual Park. Polishing murthis is fun for 7 year old Sivarathna.

Somandiren Peruman who lives in Triolet, is a dedicated sishya who is always ready to help with religious supplies for the Dharmasala. He runs a retail business at Grand Baie, one of the most sophisticated seaside resorts of the island.

Madun Dulloo and his wife are very good friends of the Spiritual Park. He has been reading almost all the books of Gurudeva, Now he will be on a new spiritual inner adventure with the Lemurian Scrolls. Madun Dulloo has been a Government Minister several times and is very active at national politics. He is also a renowned barrister of the island.

Title: Divorce and Bankruptcy Part 1
Category: Family
Duration:

Another question on an entirely different subject. "Are there similarities between bankruptcy, going out of business or a divorce?"

In Hinduism, there is no divorce. The first marriage is the marriage. Even if the partners split up, live separately, get divorced, they are still psychically tied together. Divorce has become quite normal among Hindu people. But, the making of new karma is not new to Hindu people. Divorce is a wonderful way to make a lot of really bad karma to be faced at another time.

Marriage is a business. It has all the increments of a business - money, budgets, food, clothing, purchasing, acquiring, disseminating, entertaining. It is a very small business and it should be looked at like that. Working in an office, in a hospital, in a factory, owning a hospital, owning a business, owning a factory - has all the increments of a marriage. One has to be pleasant, handle money, purchase, sell, acquire, entertain.

A strong home with all the increments of a business working properly, will keep a business in the world working properly, year after year after year. If a home is handled unprofessionally with arguments and misunderstandings, it will create a failure within the business, automatically. Because inside, the owners of the business are failing to maintain dharma, to maintain proper protocol within their home. The vibration of the home should be and must be a higher vibration than the business, that they might own or work in.
