Yogaswami sang
"Know the Self and be wise,
yea, by the light of wisdom, be ye wise.
In the undifferentiated plenum, behold
The Supreme Brahman in thyself and myself."

This is a good shot of the path in front of the monastery. We had a clear bright day. It is hard to get everything that is happening into our photos. Here's a list:
It seems that Pierce Brosman of movie fame has recently bought property on Kauai and the real-estate people who know him were invited to Hollywood where they successfully engaged his attention to help with the Kauai Aloha Endowment. The premier Hawaii viewing of his latest movie will be here on Kauai with proceeds going to the endowment. Other donations are flowing toward the endowment from various quarters.
Paramacharya Palaniswami and Sannyasin Arumugaswami traveled to Honolulu yesterday to join in the East Kauai Water Cooperatives presentation at a state hearing with regard to status of water diversion at the source of the Wailua Mountain. Large maps that Arumugaswami had printed out made the day. Everything turned out well.
Rajkumar Manikam in Colorado made these beauitiful Aum plaques and sent them as a gift.
We can sell these in the Mini Mela and the proceeds can be given to Iraivan.
Gurudeva writes:
"For the non-Hindu who has not made a commitment, the universal mantra Aum is the most significant and precious of all mantras. This can be chanted by those of all religions, without restriction. The sounds of a city make "Aum." A child at birth says "Aum." A mother giving birth says "Aum." The last breath of a dying person is "Aum." Even the cows say "Aum." Aum is the mantra of Lord Ganesha. All are striving for His holy feet. Those who are struggling with the lower nature, those who have not made a commitment to the Sanatana Dharma, a commitment which for the newcomers to the fold could be verified by their Hindu name on their passport, should all chant Aum. "
and....
"The mantra Aum can be chanted at any time. It can be chanted silently and cause the same vibration through the body. When you chant Aum, the ida and the pingala blend back into the sushumna."
Our new camera man, Dandapani, is testing the black and white feature. Here is Arumugaswami on his way to the morning meeting with a flower for his Talaivar, Paramacharya Palaniswami.
Whew! Back to color...
David and Venitha from California
The mountain today was beautiful as usual.. The morning sun coming down valley as it rises up over the eastern side of the Aadheenam.
