"Life is meant to be lived joyously!" One of Bodhinatha's recent themes is that the we need to help make our temples more relevant to the youth, help them understand the value of the temples and to make their experience there uplifting. Adults need to be careful not to structure programs that are 100% boring to the youth.

The last day of each phase is designated the tour day. The tour starts at 9:00 am sharp and our monks take the crowd to Kadavul temple and then to Iraivan building site.

Tim Davies from Perth, Western Australia. Tim owns and runs a design and landscaping company that does residential and commercial jobs. He was very impressed by our gardens. He has read some of Gurudeva's teachings and felt drawn to come here. Yoginathaswami took some time out today to show him around and exchange ideas.

We are not sure who these folks are, but they are a bright happy couple.

Back to a continuation of one of our main feature story series: "The Building of Anna Purna Gardens." Here you see more concrete planter boxes that have been prepared. Now they will be "double dug" and covered with mulch and compost.

The vegetables are really thriving in these bio-intensive mounds and there are very few weeds to deal with thanks to all the mulch.

The cool season is excellent for the crucifer family of cabbages, brocolli and cauliflower.

The Tongan team is away today as their elder supervisor is off island. Yesterday they completed the main structure of the enclosure on top of Muruga Hill. Inside they will be putting down a floor of special slate rock.

Mount Waialeale in the distance. Always an uplifting sight, drawing the mind upward and beyond, reminding us of the Divine destiny that awaits us all.
