The top of one of the pillars...

The silpis are now preparing the insets into the foundation for the bases of the next set of pillars to be raised. This is Sundaram Achari... The concrete foundation, specially prepared with fly-ash, has now reached a hardness of 7,000 psi, and will continue to harden as the years go by.

Working on the base of a pillar.

Our pilgrims visit the site.

Gurudas and Shobha Pai, we wish them a long and wonderful life.

One of the Potagai uncrated. This will sit on the top of a pillar.

We have often made mention of the precision work being done by the silpis. Sometimes I think I can hear in the background people thinking "Oh, right... I don't believe it... It can't be that precise... come on... give me a break.. they are just using chisels and bars."

OK... Seeing is believing. Here are the four pillars that were recently installed. Now look at this:

Here we are looking straight down the side of the four pillars. You only see a single pillar. Why? Because the others are so precisely aligned with this one that you only see one pillar.

Think about it... not even a quarter inch deviation is evident in the hi-resolution photo from which this image was taken.

Lord Ganesha on the "umbrella mound" on the path to San Marga from the monastery.

All is well in Siva's Paradise in the Pacific... the gentle breeze barely ruffles the flag of Hindutva. We are so blessed, and thankful to Gurudeva and God, Gods and the devas for all they have given us.
