Jeyakumar and his wife Kala are here on a 3-day pilgrimage from Waiuku (an hour's drive from Auckland), New Zealand. It is their first time to Kauai Aadheenam. They met Gurudeva when he went to New Zealand in 1995 and said their life has not
been the same since their meeting.
They came from Sri Lanka originally and are close to our Parampara. They receive the daily Master Course lessons by email every day.
They had a wonderful meeting with Bodhinatha.

The publications offices have been in "overdrive" mode the last few days, wrapping up the next edition of Hinduism Today and working on the pocket book edition of Dancing with Siva. Paramacharya Palaniswami is doing a final check on the proofs and artwork before the ship to the printer in Kuala Lumpur.
The Hinduism Today team wrapped up the July-September edition of Hinduism Today. Here is Natarajnathaswami and Sivakatirswami holding up proofs that will ship to the printer, Banta Publications in Kansas City Missouri.
This issue will perhaps prove to be the most beautiful issue of Hinduism Today yet, with spectacular photos from Thailand, Bali, Orissa and and super articles.
When we print the cover of Hinduism Today we print along side it on the same press other items for various uses. Here are four letter-sized items:
-- A Poster to promote the Visit Kauai 2004 program
-- A reprint of the much in demand portrait painting of Gurudeva by Indra Sharma.
-- A visitor guide sheet inviting people to come to Kauai with a map of how to find us. This is something that we will distribute on the mainland. Would be pilgrims can take it to their travel agent and when they arrive on the island show it to the taxi driver or hotel clerks to guide them to the temple.
-- A piece of "Jnana Dana:" the 20 Yamas and Niyamas in Tamil language to be distributed primarily in India.
Today was a fabulously beautiful one for our tour day guests.
Jeyakumar and Kala at the temple site.
The big news today was another lift of stones... you can see the crane at work in the distance with the first potagai going up.

Another roof beam...
Up, up and away!
The team aloft.
Our crane operator, Mr. Conklin is really an expert.
Moving into place.
The silpis stand by with bars in hand to adjust the position of the stones as they are set down.
OK, down!
Silpi Karuppiah
Another quadrangle of beams appears.
OK, incoming...
Now, down!
Shanmugam Sthapati supervises.
Sundaram Achari very focused.
Yoginathaswami is the "language link" between the silpi team and the crane driver.
Now with bars, inching the stones into position.
Silpi Andiappan
The carving is something we haven't see outside of India, ever.
Small stones for the roof.
Taking a break with our Siddhidata Kulam monks strap the next stone.
OK another one.
Pull!
The team is very adept now after 5 rounds of crane lifts and they move swiftly with quiet concentration.
Another potagai goes up.
Sadhaka Adinatha watches the hoist as our men take a break and the silpis aloft take over.
Good, stop, down!
A sunny but breezy cool day.
Good, that's it.... down!
That's if for roof stones... moving over to Dakshinamurti now.
Moving the crates for the four sages into position.
