"Prana is not air, of course, yet it is contained in the air in a certain manifestation. Much prana is found in the air among the trees or near the ocean. All of nature and the forces of nature are various manifestations of odic prana that have taken visual shape. Plants feed on the odic prana in the air. You can absorb prana simply by walking through a grove of trees. The air is filled with it. Take a walk today, out into the odic force field of nature and absorb the prana in the air through your breath and through the pores of your skin. You will feel the prana entering into your pranic sheath, or vital health body, and remaining there while you exhale."

Guest day brings a bright group as usual.
Art from the new edition of Dancing with Siva
This is a very auspicious day, as the printer's proofs for the color edition of Dancing with Siva were sent back to Malaysia. It marks the end of a cycle: In early 1992 Gurudeva began work on the first large edition of Dancing with Siva. Since then the team produced the Trilogy in black and white and this began work on the color editions some time later. Years of effort to cultivate art from South India, refine the text etc. until today when we now have three books in color. A full decade.
We have been blessed with an ever constant flow of rain for two months now. Interspersed with sunshine, it is making for a classic Kauai climate. The Wailua river is full.
The plants, of course, love nothing better.
These Mysorensis vines have a symbiotic relationship with trees that host them, and they drop down these remarkably beautiful arrays of flowers.
