"Those who live with Siva personally guide their children's spiritual and secular education. They teach and model respect, share what happens each day, have fun together and shower love and hugs upon them. "
Speaking of fun... The pweor of the hmuan mnid is phaomnneil.

Bodhinatha had a wonderful birthday dinner yesterday prepared by the monks themselves. We did our "appreciation circle" where all the names of the monks were written on a piece of piece and drawn one after another from a pile. Each one chosen then shared his appreciations for Bodhinatha. We covered him with praised for over an hour! He responded: "Well let me appreciate all of you. No leader can do anything without the team. And you have all made this possible by fulfilling Gurudeva's principle of working together in harmony."
Bodhinatha's Sun One Video. Most Recent update: September 12, 2003. Bodhinatha speaks on Ahimsa, noninjury, yama #1, which is noninjury in thought, word and deed. The law of karma decrees that it is wise not to harm or hurt others, for we will then receive harm and hurt in exchange in the future. 12 minutes, 29 seconds.

Our phase end tour day group.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
End of Phase Notice
This is the last day of our phase.
This edition of TAKA will remain posted
Until Dasami Tithi, Sun 1, Sunday October 19th.
A mother and daughter from France here on holiday were part of our tour group this morning.
Only 93 days left before the next Himalayan Academy Innersearch Travel Study program will begin. Most Innersearchers will start by boarding planes to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where the first two days of the 2004 Indian Odyssey will be taking place. From there, it is 16 days through the colorful & sacred south of India. Many wonderful events have been planned throughout the journey and the 2 days in Kuala Lumpur are rich with trademark Innersearch adventures. This photo shows Gurudeva, monks and Innersearchers posing with the organisers of the event in Trinidad where about 4,000 people came to meet the group during the 2000 Caribbean Innersearch. To join Bodhinatha on this journey, please email Sadhaka Dandapani (innersearch@hindu.org) or call him on 1-808-822-3012 Ext 239.
One of our many temple visits will be the Sri Meenakshi Temple in Madurai. This truly sacred and spectacular temple, with a history that goes back more than 2,000 years, is home to Siva as Sundaresvar and Shakti as the powerful Goddess Meenakshi who presides over Madurai city. Certainly one of the most powerful temples in the south and we will have the wonderful opportunity to worship here on a number of days.
