The energy from the Maha Samadhi observances continues to pervade the Aadheenam. And now the power continues as today was the second day of Skanda Shasti. Every day devotees are coming to the morning Muruga puja and we will have a special homa and abhishekam on Sun Four. Today a group of them did the walking prostrations sadhana out on San Marga... the spirit of penance that Gurudeva felt was such an important part of sadhana was fulfilled in a serious way.

Bodhinatha's Sun One Video. Most Recent update: September 12, 2003. Bodhinatha speaks on Ahimsa, noninjury, yama #1, which is noninjury in thought, word and deed. The law of karma decrees that it is wise not to harm or hurt others, for we will then receive harm and hurt in exchange in the future. 12 minutes, 29 seconds.

Note the small size of this Dancing with Siva pocket book. It's bound to be very popular.
One of Bodhinatha's talk he gave during Maha Samadhi was "Gurudeva's Influence in Our Lives." It was well received... and now we take you off island to see just that in Singapore and Trinidad....
Saiva Siddhanta Church
Singapore Mission
On 24th October 2003, the Saiva Siddhanta Church , Singapore Mission observed the second anniversary of Gurudeva's Mahasamadhi at the Sri Sivan temple in Geylang East.
It was a cool drive up to the temple early in the morning. We were very happy to see all the beloved and wonderful souls of SSC Singapore Mission there on time in their best outfits greeting each other.
Jai GANESHA, He really looks very majestic. If you come to Singapore don't miss the Sri Sivan Temple.
A special abhishekam was performed for Lord Shiva.
The priest then handed over the sacred offerings to Kulapati Dohadeva Samugam.
All of us were waiting for the special prayer for Gurudeva. The various colors of outfits brightens the surrounding can anyone see the aura of SSC Singapore Mission? Following that we had a special prayer in Gurudeva's name.
At the temple mandapam, all of us were waiting for the next event - Annadanam -- the religious feeding. Last year, the SSC Singapore Mission decided to observe first anniversary of Gurudeva's Mahasamadhi Day on Deepavali morning by having an abhishekam for Lord Shiva and a special prayer for Gurudeva. To make the day more eventful and memorable one, the mission decided to have an annadanam after the puja.
That pot there served about 700 devotees.
While some of our members and students served the devotees, some had their breakfast first with the rest of the devotees. Seen here is the extended family of Dohadeva Samugam, the only Kulapati in Singapore.
Special breakfast was served ~ menu: Kichadi, Sambar, Vadai, Kesari and Coffee. This is the first shift.
The future backbone of the SSC Singapore Mission -- The Youth' They took over the first shift and served tirelessly and was very enthusiastic in doing it. The future begins here, under the elder's supervision.
The last shift at work the whole annadanam lasted for about 3hrs for about 700 devotees. It was a great pleasure to be able to feed 700 devotees. It's about 200 more devotees compared to last year.
A section of devotees having their meals. Everyone had enough space and took their time to have their meals. Some of them sat in a circle exchanging little chats' while they eat. After the event, we returned the utensils and made our way home.

Himalayan Academy Publications in Trinidad
Pundit Narendra Ragoonanand and his wife Ashwinee in Trinidad have taken distribution of Gurudeva's teachings via what is known in marketing parlance as "Event Promotion" to new heights at this year's "Diwali Nagar" in Trinidad with a giant and very professional display. The dynamic husband-wife team have created "Kashika Publications' in Trinidad and carry nearly the complete line of Himalayan Academy Publications in that country. They are great examples of the "modern Hindu missionaries" that Gurudeva often spoke about.
