Gurudeva walking around Iraivan Temple site several months after the foundation had been completed. We surcharged the foundation with an amount of earth more than the weight of the future temple, to make sure the foundation would settle in advance. The earth was later removed and used to create Muruga Hill on path of San Marga.

Bodhinatha's Sun One Video. Most Recent update: September 12, 2003. Bodhinatha speaks on Ahimsa, noninjury, yama #1, which is noninjury in thought, word and deed. The law of karma decrees that it is wise not to harm or hurt others, for we will then receive harm and hurt in exchange in the future. 12 minutes, 29 seconds.

Today was the auspicious day of Chitra Nakshatra. Sadhaka Tejadeva was the pujari for the Pada Puja to Gurudeva today.

As the monks chant Sri Rudram, the two pujaris sit quietly. Here are the stone Tiruvadi -- sacred sandals representing the feet of the Guru.

Sadhaka Jivanandanatha on the right assisting today.

The offering of panchamritam -- mixture of five fruits.

A beautiful garland was offered by the devotees.

Gurudeva's murthi...

As always during this puja, we could feel Gurudeva's presence so completely and if he were right in the room with us.

Monks prostrate at the end of the puja. Bodhinatha and the monks often receive testimony from people around the world who are having dreams of Gurudeva. He is very active on the inner planes!

Later in the morning Thambynathan Girish Samugam took the camera to help out for TAKA. Here is the information center at 107 Kaholalele Road where the Pilliyar Kulam serves during the day.

Lord Ganesha abiding at the entrance of the Tiruneri path.

Walking up the path and turning right into the Banyan Mandapam, one will find our small Mini-Mela books shop. It is now wired with telephone, and network connection. and Sadhaka Jivanandanatha sits here for a few hours in the morning, carrying on this his kulam work remotely, so to speak.

It is thus also available to help visitors buy books and other items.

More pictures of the recent shipment of Ganesha's from India.

Jai Ganesha!

Aum Gam Ganapataye Namaha!

Aum Sri Ganeshaya Namaha!

This one is not available as it is presiding over one of the monks desks.

Here we are at our little unimposing publications building under the mango tree overlooking the Wailua River with a view of Mount Waialeale. Let's go inside....where everyone is surprised to find all our hi-tech equipment.

Oh, there is Sannyasin Natarajnathaswami working on some articles for Hinduism Today. He is trying to get ahead as he will be going on Innersearch in January for a few weeks.

Well, morning work period is over! Time to go take care of Ashram Sadhana... which is the 30 minutes of cleaning duty each monk does daily, usually just before lunch.

Sadhaka Jothinatha cleans the courtyard and lays out the mats for lunch.

Yogi Mahadeva and Sadhaka Dandapani share news about guests ....

Meanwhile a little kitty has arrived from we know not where.. and hidden herself under the stone of wall of the courtyard.

This little stray is still afraid of people and won't let anyone near, but we feed him daily and expect soon he will join the rest of our feline clan and not run and hide each time we approach.

Vyagrapada our beautiful and very intelligent parrot.

Yoginathaswami is the vigilee for the 12 noon to 3 pm shift in the temple.

And the jyotish of the day, the position of the planets is depicted in the middle of the temple.

Earth in the middle, planets around....each of the houses of the zodiac on the outside and the signs on the inner board. See the yellow planet, Jupiter, on top, exactly opposite the red planet, Mars. This makes for exciting world events!

Pictures from the Ukraine where Chandra Shekaran, as student of Himalayan Academy and the last person to receive a Namakarana from Gurudeva on the Innersearch in Europe... at his home shrine.

He has these exquisite murthis from India...

A fabulous image of Ganesha in polished black stone with a white Siva Lingam.

Thank you Gurudeva for everything you have created and given to us all!
