This is the Moksha Ritau, the season to deepen our sadhana and look up and in toward the goal of Self-Realization.
We had our Sun One homa this morning as usual. Bodhinatha gave a wonderful talk, which will be posted in the days to come. He made the point that each of us, no matter where we are on the path, should start right now, today, seeking for merger with Siva and not carry the attitude that because we are in the world, that we should put off this important aspect of our lives.
Later during the morning, many Hindu guests came. Here Sanju from Toronto area, Canada, who has been on pilgrimage here for several days, came for darshan with Bodhinatha before going home to Canada.

Bathing the lingam with his wife: Sharma and Nishtala from Houston, Texas. they came just to see the Mahasphatika Siva Lingam at Kadavul temple.

A small Nandi...
Siva Yogaswami sits in the back of the Guru Peedam, observing all....
Next our visitors come for darshan and dialog with Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami.
They offer their respects to the Guru Maha Sannidhanam.
Bodhinatha talked to them about the next generation, how we need to make sure they are explained the value of the Hindu temple, and to give the youth responsibilities at the temple. The big question he addresses is, where will the third generation be? The first generation came from India and built temples, they had their children and brought them to the temples, but now, the third generation, totally Americanized... will we see them in the temples? It's not going to be automatic, Hindu parents in America have to take a proactive approach.
Or guests responded with the general question about how to answer the youth's questions about why we have so many Gods... why is Hinduism so complicated, other religions are very simple... Bodhinatha encouraged them to stay tuned to the next issue of Hinduism Today which has the Ten Questions and Answers plus Hindu Ethics special section.
Ganapu cat is a big fluffy aloof sort of fellow. Though a little attention from any one of the pet humans is acceptable, he really doesn't really like his pet humans to pick him up... both feet on the ground, that's his philosophy. But he loves to follow his No 1 pet human, Paramacharya Ceyonswami, around and even attends the morning puja in the temple if Ceyonswami is on vigil. Back at the Lambodara Kulam office, it's a bit chilly today and this laser printer is a nice and warm place for a nap. Sure you can take my photo, he says, just don't bother me.
More innersearch photos coming... tomorrow. Note below. Audio is back with talks by Bodhinatha given in January and then later, from his classes and upadeshas while on Innersearch.
