Ganapati Kulam Media Studio Update

The big news of this phase was the removal of the old office trailer where Acharya Arumuganathaswmi and Brahmanathaswami have been living and working in for years. It felt like a mini-hurricane had come and opened up a new space! Stay tuned as for a major transformation!

s metal legs. Wheels reinstalled and then with much wonderment by all, moved out by our John Deere tractor.'

ve lived in this moldy old box long enough!'

After a successful exit we took the trailer all the way around to the back of the monastery. Our two swami\

s will reset up ther offices here while the renovation is in progress, thru March\/April.'

Meanwhile in the carpentry shop under Acharya Kumarnathaswami\

s guidance a team has been steadily at work on the ceiling coffers.'

There are 18 of these 4 by 4 recepticles which will hold ceiling art and lighting

Acharya Kumarnathswami is our official lead supervisor for the renovation project but we are depending on the years of expertise of Kulapati Deva Rajan, Kulapati Durvasa Alahan and Thamby Kumaran. Acharya consults daily with Deva on the work at hand.

Shailesh Trivedi left for home tonight, but he has been doing top-notch work putting together the frames.

Shaliesha mastered the perfect miter joint! All this wood was carefully milled out from raw boards by Adi Srikantha who had been working for several months getting the parts ready for assembly.
