From Chicago
May 19, 2014Yesterday, our traveling monks visited the Chicago Lemont Temple. The main event of the day was the graduation ceremony of the over 300 students of the temple classes. Groups of children did singing and dance performances. Bodhinatha gave a short talk to everyone. In another building, Bodhinatha then gave a 45 minute lecture to a small but interested group.
They then visited the Willis tower (was the Sears tower) with a group of about 15. There they had an amazing view of the city. Following that, the group had dinner at a Thai restaurant with more than 20 people.

It was a beautiful day, tons of tulips all over the city in full bloom.

About 15 people came with. Amazing view of the city!

This is a glass observation cube which sticks out of the building

At the Thai Restaurant. Notice the huge Ganesha!
