Fort Worth Kumbhabhishekam

Currently, Satguru Bodhinatha Veyanswami and Sannyasin Senthilnathaswami are traveling in Texas. The two are attending the kumbhabhishekam of the Fort Worth temple as special guests. During Fort Worth Temple's construction, the temple-building experience of Kauai Aadheenam was occasionally sought out to answer questions. This recent invitation was an expression of gratitude for that communication and guidance.

Bodhinatha writes about the event:
"We spent the morning and evening at the Forth Worth temple. Morning attendance was light as expected, but the evening attendance was larger. An interesting ceremony was done to light the homa. Pepal sticks were churned together to create the fire which was then used to light the homa. The symbolism was that as fire is inherent in wood and brought out by action, so is God inherent in the murti and brought out by ceremony. The most powerful part was a Rudra homa conducted by six priests at six different homas."
